First Aid Guide

ASTHMA 
is a condition which muscles of the passages go into spasms.This makes the airway constricted and breathing becomes difficult. Asthma attacks can occur because of tension or allergy.

Symptoms
Casualty may be restless
Difficulty speaking
Difficulty in breathing especially breathing out.

asthma sufferers usually carry an aerosol inhaler or a nebulizer

What to do
Calm the casualty/patient
Help him sit down, leaning slightly towards on a support.
Ensure a good supply of water
Allow casualty to take his medication if he has it.
If symptoms persist or casualty gets attack again seek urgent medical aid.(go to hospital, clinic)
